Your information on DiveFolk
Short version: your dive files never leave your computer, and we never sell your information.
Your dive files
The DiveFolk Logbook runs entirely in your web browser. The files you add are read on your own computer and are never uploaded to DiveFolk or anyone else.
When you join or sign up for updates
If you fill in the Join form, we collect what you enter: your first name and email, plus any optional answers about where you dive, how long you've been diving, how often you dive, your certification and your interests. The form is stored with Google Forms, so Google's privacy policy also applies to it.
We use this to understand who uses DiveFolk and decide what to build next. We only email you if you ticked the box asking us to, or signed up for updates, and every email will include a way to stop. Update emails go out about once a month at most.
What we never do
We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Ages
DiveFolk's Join form is for people 13 and older.
Hosting, fonts and links
DiveFolk doesn't use cookies, ads or tracking tools. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and GitHub may log visitors' IP addresses for security, as described in GitHub's privacy statement. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google can see your browser's address when the page loads. Links to other websites are governed by those sites' own policies.
Removing your information
To have your Join details deleted, email us at hello@divefolk.com and we'll remove them.
